Melbourne Based Church
Partner’s Associate Director was previously engaged by the Trust for a Melbourne based Church to undertake a portfolio review of more than 700 properties with a value of more than $1 billion. The Church wished to understand the opportunity to leverage their obsolete or underutilised assts, allowing them to better serve their community and ensure financial security for future generations.
The portfolio review established a shortlist of suitable properties across Greater Melbourne, including CBD, suburban and greenfield assets, against which the benefits and risks of divestment, passive and active development were modelled. We subsequently worked with the group to create a risk and development template that would allow them to activate their assets for future development.
